Around 20 solo artists and bands play a mixture from noon into the evening that has a wide variety to offer fans of folk, world and country music.
On three stages, the large "open-air stage", the courtyard stage "Musician's Corner" and in the "Singer's Barn", alongside large, strong-voiced ensembles, avant-garde folk bands, expressive blues sounds, percussive formations and singer-songwriter originals can be heard to classical music from the Turkish and Arabic region as well as the Balkans. The musical diversity and its contrasts make up the special atmosphere of the Popola Muzika Neukölln Festival.
On the large "open-air stage" the wind band Atempause and the eight-piece Hit'n Honk formation play just as expressively and powerfully as two choirs with powerful voices:
The well over 60 singers of the High Fossility Choir and the Tarab Choir.
On the courtyard stage "Musician's Corner" the musical arc spans from the trio Bardomaniacs to the folk duo Juliane Gabriel and Kristoff Becker to the Blacksmith One Man Band.
In the "Singer's Barn", soloists or duos sing their own compositions. From clear, expressive folk song voices to representatives of the Neukölln song poet scene, some of your own and idiosyncratic music will be heard here.
In the middle of the estate, the "Camp Ground", you can strengthen yourself with drinks and small snacks and relax on straw bales. The festival's "session tent" will also be located here: If you want to make music together, sing and experience the musicians of the day at the session in the courtyard, this is the place for you.
For our little visitors there are children's country activities such as lasso throwing and many animals to admire on the site.
Find new friends with music from all over the world: friendFinder
What is friendFinder?
We invite all music lovers of all genres and ages to share their passion for music from all over the world. Because music connects!
It provides a basis for conversations, experiences and friendships.
We want to encourage that!
Enjoy the music and the atmosphere at the Gutshof together and arrange to meet up for the next concert or a walk.
How does friendFinder work?
For the festival, we hand out friendFinder wristbands at the Alt-Britz and Parchimer Allee entrances. With this around the wrist, everyone has the opportunity to signal:
