Traditional music from Mali meets contemporary European music. For the Malian-German project AM ANFANG, the choreographer and dancer Kettly Noël and the composer and musician Marc Sinan question creation myths from West Africa and Europe as well as scientific narratives about the creation of the world.

The story is told by dance, song, performance and video art. AM ANFANG /AT FIRST brings together the Djiguiya Orchestra from Bamako with the Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart and the international Marc Sinan Company.
