The junior ensemble of the renowned Barrat Due Music Institute, under the direction of violinist Sigyn Fossnes, regularly performs in productions for children and young people at the Norwegian National Opera; it has also given concerts at festivals in Scandinavia and Europe.
The Prenzlauer Berg Youth Chamber Orchestra comprises students from the Berlin music school "Instrumental Lessons and Chamber Music," which, in addition to individual lessons, fosters ensemble playing from the very beginning. The chamber music rehearsals are overseen by the teaching team of Frauke Huhs, Alexander Ramm, and Christian Raudszus.
