Guided tour on International Women's Day with Dr. Christy Wahl and Claudia Wasow-Kania

Under the motto "Women Art Open • Female Artists* Everywhere," the fair share! initiative promotes visibility for female artists and will take place on International Women's Day, March 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Under the title "Hannah Höch • The Artist's World in Heiligensee," art historians Dr. Christy Wahl and Claudia Wasow-Kania will lead a tour of the Hannah Höch Room.

From 1939 to 1978, the internationally renowned artist and inventor of photomontage, Hannah Höch, lived in Heiligensee. The Reinickendorf Museum will exhibit works from its collection, including early treasures, as well as photographic portraits of the artist and objects.
The tour offers insights into the world of this fascinating woman. The selection of works is representative of the multifaceted nature of her oeuvre, which moves between abstraction and figuration.

On this public holiday, the museum will only be open for the events from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
