FRAMED FEST returns and transforms the historic water tower in Prenzlauer Berg into a stage for visionary art and connecting experiences. This year's festival focuses on the interplay of sound, space, and human connection.
Program:
Exhibition: June 5–29
Internationally renowned artist Yael Bartana presents HOMESICK, her first neon installation—a visual reflection on origin, belonging, and emotional distance.
Concerts & performances: June 12–15
More than 20 international musicians – including Avishai Cohen, Noa, Vincent Peirani, Meg Stuart, and many more – will present cross-genre duets combining jazz, classical, and world music. The unique acoustics of the water tower create a space for an intense listening experience.
Lectures & workshops: June 6–19
FRAMED CIRCLE invites you to explore topics such as trauma and transformation. With contributions from Dr. Peter Levine and Dr. Nir Brosh, among others, the festival becomes a place for exchange, reflection, and personal growth.
Curated by Haggai Cohen Milo and under the artistic direction of Yael Nachshon Levin, the festival stands for genuine encounters beyond conventional genre boundaries—a space that feels like a campfire in the center of an imaginary village.
