IRIS ROMEN is known at Ballhaus Wedding for her legendary Sunday brunches, where she regularly performs her favourite songs – pop music from many decades, including some of her own compositions, all lively and full of lightness.

Until now, Iris' musical journey has taken her through ballrooms, jazz clubs, blues bars and country venues – elements and moods from all the musical styles present there can be recognised in Iris' “vintage pop” songs – but now new dimensions are being added.
Iris' new, as yet unreleased songs with a new sound tell of her inner journey and how she deals with her feelings in a changing world, where her warm voice and her soulful and moving manner are more than welcome and important.
Micha Fromme on drums and vocals and Karsten Lipp on lap steel and pedal steel guitar give her songs both stability and wonderful magic, and it is not only music that connects them, but also their friendship and sense of humour.
