It's that time of year again: timpani rolls resound through Berlin Cathedral, trumpets blare their fanfares, and the grand oratorio choir of the Berlin Cathedral Choir proclaims the motto of the quintessential Christmas classic: "Rejoice, be glad, praise the days!"
Every year, listeners from all over the world gather in Berlin Cathedral to prepare for the most wonderful time of the year with Johann Sebastian Bach's Christmas Oratorio.
Under the magnificent dome of Berlin Cathedral, the Berlin Cathedral Choir sings, accompanied by the Baroque Orchestra Aris et Aulis, under the direction of Cathedral Cantor Adrian Büttemeier.
