21st International Organ Summer
Winfried Bönig (Cologne) will be performing on the organ, presenting a diverse program featuring works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Sigfrid Karg-Elert, and Gustav Holst. A multifaceted organ recital unfolds, ranging from classical elegance and late-Romantic sonic imagination to symphonic expansiveness.
The concert will be accompanied by a live video feed from the console of the large Sauer organ, projected onto a screen in the chancel. This allows the audience to follow the performance up close and gain fascinating insights into the instrument's technology and interpretation.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
