With 48,500 inhabitants and 30 million tourists, Venice remains a projection screen for dreams and longings. In this writing workshop, we will explore our own images of Venice in an associative and playful way.
Inspired by the current special exhibition "Seeing Venice and…" at Britz Palace, writing exercises and language games will guide us through the narrow, shadowy alleyways along the canals, exploring Venice's multifaceted nature: its history, the impact of tourism, and the diverse desires that surround this unique city. The impressions will be translated into short texts and poems. Artistic Director: Barbara C. Schulze
