24 February 2026 marks the fourth anniversary of the start of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine. This day commemorates the ongoing suffering, loss and destruction – but also the power of solidarity and cultural resistance.

To mark this occasion, dokumentartheater berlin e.V. invites you to the event ‘Geschichte(n) unter Beschuss’ (Stories under fire).
The commemorative event will take place on 24 February 2026 at 7:30 p.m. in the ballroom of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf Town Hall.
A special highlight of the evening will be the performance by the renowned Ukrainian singer Mavka, who will use her voice to send an artistic message of remembrance and hope.
The event combines documentary theatre with music and creates space for reflection, exchange and a shared sign of solidarity with Ukraine.
