Between pop, poetry, and quiet magic Jörg Holdinghausen writes songs about inner landscapes, about closeness and distance, about what cannot be held on to. Poetic lyrics, warm tonal colors, and cinematic moods combine to form a calm, focused songcraft somewhere between chanson, pop, and indie folk.

With the album “Da Draußen,” a singer-songwriter record under his own name was released for the first time and received strong resonance on cultural radio. For the first time, “Da Draußen – Translated” will be presented live as a European translation project, together with international guests including Antoine Villoutreix and Roberta Verna.

Holdinghausen is also known as the bassist of the band Tele as well as co-author and musical director for Judith Holofernes.
