LINEAGES III on September 19 concludes the series exploring Johannes Brahms’s piano quartets. Schumann’s Fairy Tale Stories, Kodály’s Duo for Violin and Cello, and Bartók’s Contrasts—in various chamber music ensembles—lead up to Brahms’s Piano Quartet No. 3 in C minor, Op. 60.
