An interactive, interplanetary court show featuring the richest man in the world.
Hilariously funny and bitterly serious at the same time, the play deals with concepts of freedom from the right and one's own possibilities for action in post-democratic times.
In “Musk on Mars”, director Alisa Tretau presents an interactive, interplanetary court show featuring the richest man in the world.
Both hilariously funny and deadly serious, her production explores legal concepts of freedom and our own scope for action in post-democratic times. In the process, pop music and AI fantasies collide with a collective intelligence – the audience!
During the interrogation, allegations from Grünheide and the internet are brought to the table and must be examined in the light of the interplanetary concept of freedom. Using twisted promises, the intruder attempts to defend his claims to power over the supposedly freely available terrain. In the end, the audience passes judgement: does Elon Musk get the right to stay on Mars?
