Weekend guided tour to the Stasi Records Archive at the historical site
"A Monument to Surveillance": The Stasi Records Archive houses 111 kilometers of files, many containing personal data about individuals – collected by the state. The exhibition "A Glimpse into the Secret" makes the significance of this archive tangible.

After the guided tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the sample file collection. It consists of reproductions of original Stasi documents. In addition to files on the subject matter and personnel of Stasi officers, you will also find files of those affected. These individuals have consented to the publication of their documents, making a "glimpse into the secret" possible.
