With this concert, the Berlin Women's Wind Orchestra invites you on a musical journey through a time of change. First, they delve into the 1920s – an era brimming with energy and joie de vivre. The Model T rolls into a new age, the Crazy Charleston whirls through the nights, and New York pulsates with jazz, energy, and hope.

In the second part, the all-female band focuses on emancipation: women conquer new spaces – in society, in everyday life, and in music. Composers like Florence Price make this development audible, and dances like the fandango bring passion, power, and expression to the stage.
