Love Lab: Artistic research on love, body and sexuality
In the "Love Lab," artists transform the theater stage into a space of love, celebrating their bodies, boldly exploring questions about sexuality, and creating new love songs.
In two labs, artists with and without disabilities explore the themes of body, love, and sexuality for a young audience.
The second lab, "Sexuality – Fucking Beautiful?!" (12+), focuses on physical changes, growing feelings, and new uncertainties.
If you suddenly feel attracted to someone and it all becomes confusing, this is the place for you!
Director and fat activist Katharina Bill and another artist engage with the young adult novel "Fucking Fucking Beautiful" by Eva Rottmann, embarking on a performative exploration.
In both labs, the artists investigate the impact of societal beauty ideals, the complexity of relationships, and the feelings of closeness and intimacy. They also explore the exciting experience of loving someone, expressing one's gender identity, and defining boundaries. The artists are interested in the desires, fears and insecurities of young people regarding love and sexuality.
