A monodrama in Russian
As Edith Piaf, Anastasia Weimar speaks openly and simply to the audience—as if to friends. She recounts her life as a woman: a difficult childhood, love and loss, loneliness and inner strength. This honest monologue draws the audience deep into Piaf's story, until their own life story is reflected within it. It is precisely this intimacy that makes the evening so precious.
The actress is accompanied by the virtuoso pianist Andrei Diakov, whose sensitive improvisations breathe new life into Piaf's timeless chansons. Music and voice merge into an intense theatrical experience that resonates long after the performance.
This evening is more than theater. It is a rare moment of truth—a shining diamond in Berlin's theater scene.
