In her first production at the Vagantenbühne, Carolina Cesconetto approaches the ancient story from a feminist perspective, re-examining questions of guilt, alienation, pain, and grief. The ancient myth becomes a parable that radically demonstrates the systemic conditions that drive Medea to extremes.
