An institution of the Austrian music scene is celebrating its 20th anniversary. 5/8erl in Ehr'n, with their Viennese soul, have arguably made the most comfortable and laid-back contribution to Austropop. It all started as an insider tip with groovy dialect songs and nods to Viennese folk songs, but soon with their first hit, SIASSE TSCHICK, they moved towards FM4 and pop culture.

The band's oeuvre is as diverse as their audience. Their song BADESCHLUSS (Closing the Bath) is the comforting, melancholic closing song in Vienna's public baths and made the band legendary, from the Schafbergbad to the Gänsehäufel. The chorus of VAPORIZER is sung along to with just as much confidence in Berlin as in Graz. "Like Stevie Wonder smoking a Sachertorte!" is how Bavarian Radio put it.

A memorable evening is guaranteed, showcasing the band's full range: from heartfelt ballads to comical burlesque.
