Public guided tour in German

Learn more about the exciting objects from the Americas and how the presentation came to be!


The focus is on current collaborations with First Nations from Canada and societies from the Amazon as well as objects from the Inca, Maya and Aztecs that date back to pre-Columbian times.

The tour will combine ethnological perspectives and archaeological insights to reflect on the meanings of the objects, collectors, and returns.

The Humboldt Forum and all exhibition rooms can be reached barrier-free with a wheelchair. A tactile floor guidance system facilitates orientation for blind and visually impaired visitors. Educational formats are tailored to the different needs of visitors with disabilities. These include tactile tours, guided tours and workshops.
