Grabmal Carl Hegemann
Maria Magdalena Ludeweg tells of the flood, the wave that swept her into another life. In this life, their productions keep them alive, as does Klaus Peymann's (+2025) production of Wedekind's “Spring Awakening” at the Berliner Ensemble. And Carl Hegemann (+2025) delivers a “Plea for Unhappy Love.”
Gisela May will quote Brecht and sing chansons. Inge Keller performs from “Aimee and Jaguar.”
They will all rise again, be awakened, emerge from the cocoon of their memory. The event will also feature readings from Sybill Volks's new bestseller, "Cafe Finito," and the highly acclaimed "Dorotheenstadt Monologues" by East German writer Jens Gerlach.
