Nowhere is a dance collage of images and stories that brings the bizarre and witty absurdity of dreams to the stage, blurring the lines between reality and imagination.
Through the interplay of dance and object manipulation, the piece unfolds a multifaceted theatrical language inspired by surrealist art. At the heart of Nowhere lies the power of dreaming—as a way to adopt new perspectives, break free from rigid ideas, and rediscover the world with childlike curiosity.
Transformation and transience are also central themes:
Nowhere explores the acceptance of aging and the constant metamorphosis of bodies and the environment.
In a world that clamors for clarity, Nowhere advocates for ambiguity, curiosity, and the courage to view reality from different angles. Especially in times of uncertainty and negativity, dreaming becomes an essential force—a force that drives us, inspires us, and gives us hope. For only those who dream can create new worlds!
Cosmo-Cosmetics with Alex Lempert and Stefan Sing
A wordless narrative that draws its imagery from tables, everyday objects, and malleable clay. The elements enter into a symbiosis, creating images of absurdity, tenderness, and humor. The familiar becomes strange, opening up new ways of seeing.
Objects cease to be what they are. Tables tip over into landscapes, tools transform into figures, and the clay kneels—sometimes fragile, sometimes monumental.
The juggling lies hidden beneath the surface of the performance, revealing itself not as virtuosity, but as a secret life of its own: objects that glide, collide, and find their balance—as if they carried their own desires within them.
A mysterious journey into the depths of imagination.
