For little people, the transition from kindergarten to primary school is not a small thing, but a very big deal. So it's good if you can experience the school life before the first day of school. And it's even better not just to look around, but to actually get involved yourself!

To this end, the Initiative LUNA PARK has been running regular dance and movement courses for groups of children from Wedding kindergartens for over 10 years in the projects "Tanzt kunterbunt!" and „LUNA PARK – Tanzkünstlerische Übergänge“, among others.

The aim is to promote the children's motor and mental development and thus to teach them individual and social skills that make the transition to new phases of life easier for them. The children are guided and supervised by committed dance teachers and professional dance artists, and at the same time the neighboring Gesundbrunnen Primary School organizes dance courses for its first-grade pupils. Kindergarten children and first-graders come together again and again and dance with and for each other.

The children will show a colorful and entertaining selection of the dances and small choreographies that were created during the course work in the presentation format Kleine Füße, große Tänze! on December 16, 2025 in Studio 1 of the Uferstudios.

The presentation takes place as part of the action "LUNA PARK – tanzkünstlerische Übergänge" of the Initiative LUNA PARK e.V. in cooperation with the Gesundbrunnen Primary School and the kindergartens "Kunterbunt", "Der kleine Muck", "Bärenbande" and "Weltkinder".
