VOICES BERLIN FESTIVAL

The festival, which will take place for the third time in 2025 at various venues throughout Berlin, explores how artistic identities can transcend borders and reinvent and evolve in new cultural contexts.


This year's program includes a broad spectrum of premieres, concerts, and performances. In addition to a variety of artistic perspectives and narratives, VOICES BERLIN also offers a shared platform for dialogue and collaboration – a place where contemporary art provides guidance for both artists and audiences to navigate a complex and constantly changing world.


This year's festival takes place from October 24 to November 16 and presents a diverse program of new music, contemporary dance, theater, and interdisciplinary productions with artists from over 20 countries.


On the opening night of the festival, music legend Blixa Bargeld and Swedish composer Dror Feiler will present the performance "No Sound is Innocent XIII" at the Radialsystem, which will celebrate its world premiere as part of the VOICES BERLIN FESTIVAL.


In addition, the Berlin-based Zafraan Ensemble will present four world premieres by composers whose music draws from life experiences in diverse cultural contexts.


The artist duo ORTA will engage the audience in a novel invention in their immersive performance "The New Genius Experience of The Great Atomic Bombreflector."


Pianist Dmitry Batalov will present a comprehensive concert program with "Wanderer," juxtaposing works from various musical movements and re-examining the potential of the piano.
