During the evening, Anne Rabe and Andrea Scrima will discuss the ways in which they address the traumas of the GDR in their novels and read from their works. Both authors explore socio-historical approaches to the GDR in their literature in different ways. Education, the family system, and the intergenerational transmission of trauma in social memory play a major role.
