For the German book premiere of Wachskind at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Olga Ravn opens the space between history and evocation: a novel about female solidarity and male fear, about bodies as evidence and language as magical power. The German edition will be published in mid-October 2025, translated by Alexander Sitzmann.

Olga Ravn, born in Copenhagen in 1986, is an award-winning author and translator. Her novels The Employees and My Work have been published in almost 20 languages worldwide and have also been adapted for stage and radio plays in Germany.
