Star guest Jonas Kaufmann, who sang his way to the top of the world with his warm, powerful tenor voice, interprets some of the most beautiful arias from Italian operas and lets us dream of the south under the starry Berlin night sky.
Respighi’s sonorous tone poems Pini di Roma and Fontane di Roma take us on a journey through the Eternal City – from the pine trees of the Villa Borghese to the glittering Trevi Fountain.
