Afrodream is an Afrobeat/Pop ensemble founded in 2018 in Turin, born out of the collaboration between Senegalese artist Abou Samb (vocals, percussion) and Luca Vergano (guitar).The unique sound of Afrodream emerges from the fusion of African rhythms and melodies with Western influences.

The harmonious blend is the result of collaboration between musicians from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds, who have skillfully created a balance of rhythm and melody. The outcome is high-energy live performances that generate an almost cathartic atmosphere, inviting audiences to dance and fully immerse themselves in the music.
Afrodream’s artistic journey includes the release of two EPs and their debut album La Teranga (2020), which was funded through a successful crowdfunding campaign. The band has also appeared at major showcase festivals, including Jazzahead, WOMEX OFF, and Italy World Music, and has performed extensively across Europe, as well as on a celebrated tour in Senegal. Their new album is set to be released in autumn 2025.
