DIAL-IN TOUR

To mark the anniversary, the Berlin Foundation for Flight, Expulsion, and Reconciliation is illuminating the flight and expulsion of approximately 14 million Germans from the eastern Reich and Eastern European settlement areas. They were forced to leave their homeland under extreme conditions.

The tour takes you on a telephone tour of the permanent exhibition and describes selected objects that vividly illustrate the fates of individuals and families. It explores experiences of flight and expulsion and the path to an uncertain future.

This time, the focus will be on the fates of refugees and displaced persons at their places of arrival after 1945.
