The year is 1902. Ernst Juhl is well-known in the photography scene: for years, he has been bringing photographs from all over the world to Germany – to the Hamburger Kunsthalle, an art museum!

This was a hard-fought feat. Juhl also advocated the creative freedom of art photography as a picture editor of the Photographische Rundschau. That's when he stumbled upon the "Steichen Affair." Find out what it was all about at the Museum of Photography.
