On Sunday, 27 July 2025, Safe-Hub Berlin at Ruheplatzstraße 12 will once again become a meeting place for girls, young women and the entire neighbourhood. With the GIRLS HUB FESTIVAL, we are sending a strong signal for equal opportunities, empowerment and community – both on and off the sports field.

Girls Hub Festival
From 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., visitors can expect a varied programme of sports, creativity and inspiring encounters. The festival is primarily aimed at girls and young women, but is open to anyone who wants to celebrate diversity and be part of a supportive community.
Sports and games for all ages
The GIRLS HUB FESTIVAL offers numerous exercise activities:- Boxing for girls (in cooperation with sports for more)
- Table tennis and an open table tennis tournament
- Parent-child football games
- Small movement games for in between
- A bouncy castle for the youngest
- Creative hands-on activities and workshops
In addition to the sports programme, there are creative activities:
- Face painting
- Jewellery design with TOWANDA
- Henna tattoos from Moabiter Kinderhof
- A photo station for lasting memories
- An interactive exhibition about role models and empowerment
- (Optional: graffiti workshop – in planning)
- Stage programme and highlights
There is also plenty to see on stage:
- 1:00 p.m.: Welcome and festival opening
- 3:00 p.m.: Dance workshop for girls
- Approx. 4:00 p.m.: Poetry slam with Parsto (for everyone)
- Approx. 4:30 p.m.: Table tennis tournament for all visitors
- From 6:00 p.m.: Public viewing of the Women's European Championship final
- Culinary offerings
- Soul of Coffee will provide delicious food and drinks.
Working together for a fairer society
With the GIRLS HUB FESTIVAL, we are creating a space where girls and young women can try things out, discover their strengths and raise their voices. At the same time, we invite families, neighbours and friends to join us in standing up for a diverse and fair society.Admission is free – just come along and join in!
