
The Chamber Ensemble Neue Musik Berlin (KNM Berlin), founded in 1988 by students of the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in East Berlin, is one of the leading ensembles for contemporary music in Germany.
With a flexible line-up of approximately 13 musicians, the ensemble is dedicated to traditional chamber music as well as experimental forms, interdisciplinary projects, and music theater, often in collaboration with international composers.
