The German Huguenot Society and the French Church in Berlin invite you to the 53rd German Huguenot Day. The weekend event is dedicated to the history and cultural heritage of the Huguenots in Berlin.


Program


Opening:

  • Friday, June 13, 2025, 5:00 p.m.
  • Welcome by District Mayor Stefanie Remlinger (Berlin-Mitte)

Lectures:

  • June 13, 6:00 p.m.: Dr. Silke Siebrecht-Grabig (Reckahner Museen): Suzette Henry – Chodowiecki's daughter as an artist and academy member
  • June 14, 2:30 p.m.: Prof. Dr. Frank-Lothar Kroll (TU Chemnitz): The tolerance of the Hohenzollerns

Other program highlights include the Huguenot Society's general meeting, guided tours of Huguenot sites in Berlin, visits to the Huguenot Museum, church services, and the Cathedral Festival on Sunday, June 15, starting at 11:00 a.m., with a presentation on silk cultivation by the Huguenots around 1750.
