The WUNDERKAMMER ensemble is dedicated to E.T.A. Hoffmann, who lived in Berlin from 1814 onwards and was a pioneer of 19th-century musical aesthetics. Excerpts from his novella are accompanied by romantic chamber music and traditional Berlin pastries.

A musical and literary programme about nocturnal abysses and mysteries in ‘Das Fräulein von Scuderi’ and other stories by E.T.A. Hoffmann in dialogue with music by Gluck, Mozart, Hoffmann, Schumann and others, as well as historical Berlin pastries from the WUNDERKAMMER kitchen.
