Kladower Christkindlmarkt
Christmas market in Berlin on 5 and 6 December 2026
Small, cosy and full of warmth: set around an atmospheric wooden nativity scene, you’ll find lovingly designed stalls offering regional arts and crafts, treats and entertainment for the whole family. We particularly recommend travelling there by ferry across Lake Wannsee.
Handicrafts, Christmas treats and Advent music
On the grounds of the Protestant parish hall in the historic centre of Kladow, a small but charming Advent market awaits you, free from the usual hustle and bustle. Numerous festively decorated stalls are arranged around the atmospheric wooden nativity scene beneath a large poinsettia.
Local artists and craftspeople showcase lovingly crafted jewellery, ceramics and Christmas decorations. Here you’ll find unique gifts and special little treats for the Advent season. The Christmas market also has plenty to offer in terms of food: look forward to hearty classics such as bratwurst, soup and pan-fried mushrooms, as well as sweet waffles, cakes and other treats. You can warm up in the parish hall with mulled wine, hot chocolate or children’s punch.
A Christmas market for the whole family
Families with children in particular will find plenty to enjoy at the Kladow Christmas market. The little ones can get creative at a craft table , whilst various choirs create a festive atmosphere on a small stage with Advent songs.
On Sunday afternoon, the Advent bus and Father Christmas are also expected to arrive . With its tranquil atmosphere, the market is also a lovely choice for couples and anyone who loves small, traditional Christmas markets. And best of all: the Christmas market is organised entirely by volunteers. All proceeds go to charitable organisations and projects.
