Make a difference with wirBERLIN
Dedication and environmental awareness
The wirBerlin initiative sees itself as a source of information, a catalyst for change and a helping hand when it comes to environmental protection. Since 2011, the initiative has been encouraging residents to make Berlin a little more liveable and cleaner – and, of course, has small rewards in store for everyone.
The BerlinPay offer
During the BerlinPay campaign, three clean-up events will take place in urban areas, and you can get involved. The events kicks off with a clean-up at the Urbanhafen in Kreuzberg to mark International Biodiversity Day on 22 May. Next up is 5 June in the Schlesischer Busch to mark World Environment Day. And finally, wirBerlin is planning a major clean-up in Tiergarten during the Environment Festival on 7 June. All the necessary equipment such as gloves, litter pickers and the like, will be provided on site.
As a thank you, participants will receive, among other things,

Working together for a liveable Berlin
wirBerlin regularly organises campaigns and events to encourage Berliners and visitors to make the city cleaner and more beautiful. Communication on an equal footing and the involvement of key city stakeholders are always key. Alongside exciting activities, small goodies ensure that taking part is well worth it.
