Christmas Market in Berlin on 26 November 2023

Creative, colourful and special. Experience the Japanese Christmas atmosphere at the Christmas market at the Malzfabrik in Berlin!

With kimonos, sake and sushi at the market stalls, an atmospheric Christmas market of a special kind awaits you at Festsaal Kreuzberg. Immerse yourself in Japanese culture and tradition in Berlin during the Christmas season.

Japanese culture in Kreuzberg

Since 2014 the Christmas market has been bringing together German and Japanese culture at a Japanese Christmas market at the Festsaal Kreuzberg. Over an entire weekend, visitors can experience Japan up close at workshops, as well as dance and sumo performances.

The exhibitors present paintings, ceramics, kimonos and many other Japanese treasures at their stands. The culinary specialities at the Christmas market are also typically Japanese. Here you can try sushi, sake and sweets.
