Culture and relaxation in the Green
Strandbad Tegelsee is much more than a swimming spot. In the green north of Berlin, it is becoming a unique place where nature, culture, and recreation come together. Surrounded by protected woodland, old trees, and diverse wildlife, the lido is being developed as a space for everyone - with cultural events, sustainable ideas and activities for all generations.
The BerlinPay offer
During the BerlinPay campaign, you can help out at Tegelsee Lido every day from 5 pm, grabbing a litter picker and tidying up the shore. Entry is free for participants. Simply sign up at the Snackpoint upon arrival, where you will receive all the materials you need for the clean-up. As a reward, you can choose between a hot or cold drink or a snack such as chips or ice cream. You can register on the day.

About Tegelsee Lido
Tegelsee Lido combines nature, culture and community in a special way. Alongside traditional swimming, the site hosts concerts, workshops, readings, sports activities and family-friendly festivals right by the water. With free swimming lessons, summer schools for children, ice swimming, chess tournaments and a sustainable approach – from solar-powered boats to vegetarian catering – the lido becomes an open space for socialising, creativity and experiencing nature right in the heart of Berlin.
