Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark
The third largest stadium welcomes football, American football and athletics fans.
With 19,000 seats Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark is the third largest stadium in Berlin after the Olympiastadion and the Stadion an der Alten Försterei. Since it opened in 1952, it has served as one of the most important venues for national and international sports events and competitions in the field of football, American football, and athletics. Numerous events, such as the Cup Finals, UEFA matches, the German Bowls, and 18 track and field world records can already be counted as part of the stadium’s amazing history. Since the 2014/15 football season, this sports park in the northeast of Berlin, near the Mauerpark, has been the home stadium of the Dynamo Berlin football club, the former DDR champions, who now play in the northeast regional league.

Leisure sports in the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark
As a football and track and field stadium, the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark is a venue for important events. But those who don’t just want to watch can use the stadium for their own training, for example by running a few rounds on the red track. Because it is a public sports complex, which includes beach volleyball and tennis fields, the facility is also especially made use of by schools and sports clubs.
