Reading on the FluxBau terrace
Breakfast meets culture. Pastries meet sparkling wine. Austria meets Germany. Enjoy freshly baked Buchteln (bunches of Austrian bread) and a cool glass of Austrian sparkling wine while exciting authors combine the best of two cultures.
The focus is on young author Caspar-Maria Russo, who presents his acclaimed debut novel "Prinzip Ungefähr" (The Principle of Circumstance) – an entertaining and clever exploration of the question: What is it like to live as a German in Austria?
The morning hosts:
- Angela Lehner, award-winning Austrian author and literary educator
- Audrey Naline, Berlin's most popular drag queen and hostess with Viennese charm
Together with Russo, they discuss cultural differences, quirky everyday experiences, and the subtle nuances of Austrian identity – humorously, profoundly, and in the best breakfast atmosphere.
- Venue: FluxBau Berlin – weather permitting, on the Spree Terrace
- Doors, sparkling wine & Buchteln: from 9:30 a.m.
- Literary opening: 10:00 a.m.
