Every item in Kirko's suitcase tells stories from the past in his old home. His new home is strange, empty, impersonal. Nothing welcomes him. The noises outside seem threatening: a functioning life that can do without him.
But slowly, from the rich memories of the past, of comfort, conviviality, and belonging, desires for the future emerge. And we accompany Kirko on his journey into a new life, which finally brings the grumpy and lonely neighbor a true friend.
