His latest album, “später noch immer,” touches on the sore spots of our time while humbly acknowledging the circumstances that have led to us, of all people, being able to live this very life.

“Unverschämt!” can be understood as an indignant exclamation, but for people with a sense of humor, it can also be a genuine seal of quality—as at a FALK concert. In his current concert program “Unverschämt,” the singer-songwriter is delightfully boundary-pushing in every direction, paired with biting yet likable sarcasm—a lovable heckler, in other words. At the same time, however, he is more than that. The singer-songwriter is a storyteller with a thoughtful side that can be deeply moving.

A visit to a FALK concert is perhaps not recommended for those with weak nerves, a tendency toward hypersensitivity, or anyone with an overly delicate disposition. But anyone who wants to laugh together at the quirks and oddities of everyday life—and who also has the ability to laugh at themselves—will find an evening with FALK not only “Unverschämt” (shameless), but guaranteed to be shamelessly good.
