A production of the mit.mach.bühne – based on Henrik Ibsen

Henrik Ibsen's 1882 drama An Enemy of the People incisively exposes the mechanisms of power and powerlessness in a capitalist, competitive society. In our adaptation, thirty people take to the stage and collectively grapple with the question:

How much truth can a society yearning for security tolerate? Which voices are heard—and which are silenced?

An evening about courage and isolation, about democracy under stress, and the eternal temptation to suppress the uncomfortable truth.
