Berlin-based actors Jan Uplegger and Mareile Metzner will take you on a literary journey through Ukraine. Refugee singers Iryna Lazer, Iryna Razin-Kravchenko, and Nataliia Kuprynenko will provide musical accompaniment to this journey, accompanied by Berlin-based Daniil Zverkhanovsky on electric guitar. The result is a richly atmospheric portrait of this country at the heart of Europe.

Afterward, they will engage in conversation with the audience about Ukraine's past and future. The Ukrainian artists will share their experiences of refugee status with the audience.
