Performance by Blixa Bargeld & Dror Feiler
On the opening night of the "VOICES BERLIN FESTIVAL," German industrial rock legend Blixa Bargeld, known as the frontman of the internationally successful band "Einstürzende Neubauten," and Swedish composer, musician, and political activist Dror Feiler will present the world premiere of the performance "No Sound is Innocent XIII."
A performance for voice, woodwind instruments, electronics, and ensemble:
They will perform poems by the German playwright Bertolt Brecht together. With his distinctive voice, Blixa Bargeld will recite epigrams in the spirit of Brecht to Dror Feiler's experimental music.
The musicians are united by a long-standing friendship and a deep interest in the possibilities of transcending musical conventions.
