Culinary knowledge shared in hospitality

Shared meals can stimulate palate memories by sharing culinary traditions and knowledge. In this way, people can learn from these and countless other forgotten narratives.

To this end, cooks from different cultures will be invited to the kitchen of the HKW restaurant "Weltwirtschaft" over the next five years. Each chef will create a special menu for the guests of the HKW.

The menu will be accompanied by narrative elements expressed in films, performances, music, literature, leisure activities or conversations.
In this way, the kitchen will be given new life as a laboratory, a space for knowledge production, exchange and transmission.
