The travelling exhibition ToleranzRäume, sponsored by the Bundestag, will be visiting Berlin for the first time from 19 April 2024 and can be experienced in front of the Freizeitforum Marzahn. It shows visitors how they can work towards more tolerance and respect in their everyday lives.

The colourful tolerance container invites people from all walks of life to experience and discuss how tolerance can work in our coexistence, but also where it has its limits.

Due to their interactive character, the Tolerance Spaces are well suited as a destination for a short excursion. The reference to everyday life opens up opportunities for dialogue and thus enables new perspectives on the topic of tolerance, but also very specifically on the living environments of other people.

The exhibition is divided into two areas: Inside, the focus is on the concept of tolerance and specific examples from history. Outside, everyday examples are used to show where tolerance is important and how each individual can work towards greater respect in our dealings with one another. The visitors' route is not predetermined - whether from inside to outside or vice versa, the ToleranceSpaces are accessible from all directions.
