Gösta Funck, harpsichord

Alessandro Scarlatti (Sicily 1660 – Naples 1725) is undoubtedly considered a representative of the Neapolitan school and an important innovator of Baroque music. He created something new that pointed to the future, particularly in the areas of opera (over 100 works), oratorios (over 150 works) and cantatas (around 800 compositions).
