We’ll start with a walk through Spreepark, during which we’ll consciously observe our surroundings. As we do so, we’ll try to put ourselves in the shoes of various animals and think together about what their perspective on Spreepark might be:
What perspective does a bird, an ant, or a fox have here? Why might this place be interesting to this creature, and what is its relationship to its surroundings?
Afterward, we’ll collect natural materials such as sticks, stones, feathers, leaves, and much more. We’ll then use these items to create our own small work of art.
Perhaps we’ll create something in which an animal would feel at home, or that reflects its view of the world.
We’ll draw inspiration from the paper art of Japanese artist Kazuko Miyamoto and explore our relationship with nature.
