“On Sunday not a single one of them was in church. Something must have happened!” There has been no sign of life from the remote Danner farm in the village for days. The cattle roar in the stable. The village community increasingly becomes suspicious that something may have happened to the notorious farming family.

Tannöd – A search for clues combines the genres of live radio play and staged reading. Over 70 minutes, three players explore the events and background of the six-fold murder on the family's remote farm Danner. The open game principle allows players to slip into different roles and draw a differentiated portrait of society. By interweaving different narrative and time levels, which are supported by audiovisual elements, a dark and exciting crime story is created.

Andrea Maria Schenkel's novel "Tannöd" is based on a true criminal case from 1922 that has fascinated us to this day and has not been solved.

The multi-award-winning bestseller is now coming to the stage as a live audiovisual radio play adapted by Maya Fanke and Doris Happl
of the TuD.
